Everything you Never Wanted to Know…

Hello! Thanks for visiting my Blog. I hope you enjoy it. I would really rather not put up an intro page, but I was getting quite a few messages and e-mails from people telling me to add one..so here you go…

My name is Joe Buffett and I am 26 years old. I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada with my newly wed wife Natasha, our dog, and 3 cats (2 too many). We recently bought our first house and are living the pretty good life at this point. We are also expecting our first baby (a boy we named Jack) in early April. I work at a small custom woodworking shop building spiral staircases and such and thouroughly enjoy it.
I got into photography about 3 years ago with the purchase of a Canon A400. I went through a few more point and shoot digital cameras, but they have thier obvious limits. I have started to get a little more serious about it and bought a 350D (RebelXT). I have next to nothing as far as equipment goes, aside from a Canon 50mm 1.8II, a CP filter and a few mono/tripods. I do like to play with film from time to time, so the odd scan of a print is going to be posted.

I am still very much a noob with photography and could use all of the critique I can get. If you see something you like or don’t like, let me know. The only way to get better is to know what your doing wrong. If, however, you see something you really like…all photos are available as prints hahaha. There is more information regarding that elsewhere on the site

I guess that’s probably it for now. I will probably be editing this entry quite a bit as I hated writing it and think it’s kind of stupid. Writing about yourself feels quite vain.
