More Shore

Another long exposer shot. I shot some photos here last fall of a local trials rider named James Barton. If you were to check the “bicycle” section of this site you would find them. It was much warmer then. And lacking the 4000km/h wind and -60,000 degree windchill that I was enjoying the night I took this shot.

The whiteish water at the shoreline is a “silk” effect caused by the slow shutter. There were very large whitecaps at the shore, but you don’t see that with a long exposer. I was hoping it would be a more pronounced effect.
