Fort Henry – HDR

An HDR is a combination of at least 2 photos. You take a few photos of the same subject with different exposers. Combining them in post processing to make 1 photo with perfect exposer. Lately it seems most HDR’s are way over processed and look like drawings more than photos. But HDR’s are simply an exposer tool, not what you would normally see when you Google HDR.

This was 3 separate photos. 1 for the Fort, 1 for the grass, and 1 for the sky. As you can tell, it doesn’t look completely natural, but it doesn’t look too wacky. I usually shoot as close to “perfect” as I can from the camera so that I don’t edit as much as possible, but it’s fun to try every now and then
